Tyler Pullen

Assistant Director of Building Innovation

Tyler leads Terner Labs' work in the building industry and housing space, including supporting building entrepreneurs through the Housing Venture Lab. He also guides research on building industry innovation at the Terner Center for Housing Innovation. He has a background in research and practice across several disciplines within architecture, engineering, and construction. These include civil and environmental engineering, construction management, energy efficient architectural design and analysis, urban planning, and housing development and policy. His research includes work both in the U.S. and abroad, particularly on the topic of industrialized construction as a means of expanding and improving housing production. This interdisciplinary experience and curiosity are critical in his work and research, which strives to align both policy and practice towards critical housing, environmental, and societal goals.
