Sarah Neubauer

Economist and Data Analyst

Sarah Neubauer is an Economist and Data Analyst at Terner Labs passionate about evidence-based policy. Prior to joining Terner Labs, she worked as a Senior Economist at Alma Economics, conducting quantitative impact evaluations and cost–benefit analyses on housing affordability and homelessness interventions for public-sector clients.

She has also held roles across economic research and policy, including serving as Lead Economic Researcher to develop indicators tracking cities’ progress on affordability and poverty goals at the BC Council for International Cooperation, leading monitoring and evaluation for a social services non-profit, and analyzing transportation policy at TransLink, Metro Vancouver’s public transit authority.

Sarah holds an MSc in Social Research Methods from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a Bachelor of International Economics from the University of British Columbia, where she was a Data Science for Social Good Research Fellow.
