Magdalena Ohstrom

Magdalena Ohstrom is a graduate student in the Sustainable Design &​ Construction program at Stanford University with a focus on Sustainable Urban Systems. Her passion for melding engineering with urban studies motivates her in furthering sustainable solutions to the housing crisis. Her academic background is in environmental engineering, and she has experience from HVAC design at an MEP firm to urban design at NYC Housing Preservation and Development. She will graduate in 2026 to work in building performance design and analysis.
