Ben Goodman
Graduate Student Fellow
Ben Goodman is a Master of Public Policy student at UC Berkeley's Goldman School of Public Policy. After growing up in Cleveland, OH, Ben majored in government at Dartmouth College and then worked on an array of Democratic campaigns at the local, state, and federal levels, taking him from New Hampshire to Missouri to Washington, D.C. He most recently worked on the Harris-Walz presidential campaign, where he led opposition research into the policy records of Donald Trump, JD Vance, and Project 2025. The predominance of cost-of-living issues, particularly related to renting and homeownership, during the 2024 election sparked his interest in housing policy, and he hopes to explore how government and industry can work together to make housing more affordable and abundant.
