About the Builders Lab
Terner Labs seeks graduate student fellows to aid in stakeholder management and pipeline development for the Builders Lab accelerator program. The Builders Lab works with a cohort of innovative companies in architecture, engineering, and construction to scale efficient, cost-effective and sustainable methods of housing delivery across the U.S. The Builders Lab’s inaugural cohort was selected in September 2024 and includes B.Public Prefab, Cloud Apartments, Cycle Retrotech, Hydronic Shell, MODS PDX, and Villa.
The Builders Lab provides cohort members with 9 months of advising from expert coaches, travel to the United Kingdom and Sweden to be immersed in mature industrialized construction ecosystems, and access to the Lab’s national network of policymakers, developers, and investors. The Lab also facilitates relationships between cohort members and our community of Strategic Partners from across the housing delivery ecosystem including Eden Housing, Hilti, SCB, SOM, and Suffolk Construction. The Builders Lab has received generous support from the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative and JPMorgan Chase & Co.
